Your Major, Guaranteed
Not every college can guarantee you'll get the major you want. At CSUDH, you'll be able to enroll in the major of your choice if you're admitted to the university for 2024-25. This does not include specialized, online-only programs such as Organizational Leadership Studies and Nursing.

Higher education is an investment in your future, and CSUDH is here to help make that investment as affordable as possible. Our flexible Financial Aid and Scholarship options can further reduce the cost of your education. For 2024-25, undergraduate tuition and fees for a full-time student are $7,453.46 per year. The vast majority of our students receive scholarships and grants that cover all of their tuition and don’t need to be paid back. That’s why Forbes named CSUDH to its list of colleges that offer the best return on investment.

- Non-California resident fee for both graduate and undergraduate students is $420 per unit, in addition to the university fees listed above.

- Teaching Credential Student: Full-time = $8,431.46 (includes $1,369.46 in campus-based fees); Part-time = $5,467.46 (includes $1,369.46 in campus-based fees)
- Graduate Students: Full-time = $8,977.46 (includes $1,369.46 in campus-based fees); Part-time = $5,785.46 (includes $1,369.46 in campus-based fees)
- Nursing students pay a reduced Student Center fee of $43 for the fall and spring term. Nursing students do not pay a Health Services fee.
